jewelry design Here's a project for how to make DIY ear wires and also a Coiled Wire crystal Charm. This tutorial teaches you how to make perfectly balanced ear wires and Coiled Wire Charms. With a few beads and some wire you can have your own unique accessories that are tailored to your personality. From what I’ve been told perfectly balanced ear wires are great for heavier design earrings so they don’t pull too much on the ear and also because of the sharper angle they are less likely to fall out.

For the earrings in the tutorial I used 2, 10 mm faceted green 10 mm rondelle crystals, 1 foot 20 gauge wire, and 3 feet, 26 gauge wire for Earrings that measure 1 1/2 inches from top of hook to bottom of earring. You use just about any beads or crystals that you want, pearls are especially pretty. There’s a lot of versatility in this design so have fun mixing it up!
