Hairless Chimp Jambo Besotted With Female

Hairless chimp Jambo from the Twycross Zoo looks like he's besotted with a female called Josie. Following her everywhere. It even looks like he is carrying the bed for her.

Jambo who has alopecia, a form of hair loss was born on the 9th June 1982. He has a daughter named Genet. A brown chimp with a bald back. Genet is together with her dad in the same enclosure. His first son Peter is in the next door enclosure to his dad. Mongo his second son who also had alopecia was undergoing a routine health check for his goiter failed to come round from the anesthetic and passed away in 2016.
His mum is Coco was born in 1965. Coco's offspring are Jambo and his half-sister Charlotte. She was born on 28 Sep 1978. Jambo has more siblings at Twycross from his father's side who is William born on the 30th of June 1982, Holly was born on the 27th of December 1982 and Jomar was born on the 28th of December 1990.
He started to lose his ear in November 2018, when he had a fight and his mum Coco ripped it by accident in a group fight. Twycross zoo tried to glue it back on with skin glue, but unfortunately, as time went past he picked on it that much that he lost all of it.

William is Chimpanzee Jambo's half-sibling. They both have the same dad. He was born on the 30th June 1982.
Peter was born on the 9th July 1992 and is Jambo's son.
Tommy is unrelated and was born on the 30th Jan 1995.
