Simplest Dividing System for A Lathe

For the template go to http://incompetech.com/graphpaper/polar/ and put as many divisions as you want, depending on what you want to make.

In one of my next projects, I need to drill out equally spaced holes on a small brass ring. Since I don't have a mill with an indexing head, I thought of using my lathe and a very simple angular syystem to make these holes. As you can see from the video, it consists of a few, easily accesible parts and can be built pretty fast. The accuracy of the holes on this particular part that is on the video was at 0.05mm, which for now it's ok, but if I was more careful it would have been even lower than that.
