SRNE MPPT Solar Charge Controller Fail!

I bought this SRNE MPPT controller and was hoping for a smooth and nice solution for my solar gate upgrade. Well, this did not work out as intended. The controller kind of works but the data coming via Bluetooth to the app is everything but ensuring. Is it the controller or the app?

Don't mix up PWM and WPM ;)
