Kayla Galindo, Isaac Carrillo Killed, 2 Injured in Accident on TX-214 in Yoakum County

Yoakum County, TX — June 14, 2026:
Authorities said 30-year-old Kayla Galindo and 28-year-old Isaac Carrillo were killed in an accident at the intersection of TX-214 and Farm-to-Market Road 213 north of Denver City at approximately 10:00 p.m. According to officials, Galindo, Carrillo, and a 4-year-old child were in a southbound Ford F-150 when a westbound GMC driven by 22-year-old Sladen Humphries reportedly entered the highway, leading to a collision. Galindo and Carrillo were killed, while the child and Humphries reportedly sustained serious injuries. Additional details remain pending. The incident remains under investigation.
