Annabelle "Fanne Foxe" Battistella | Good Night America (Jan 23rd, 1975)

Annabelle Battistella Stella was a relatively unknown striptease dancer at a sleazy Washington DC nightclub called the Silver Slipper. It was there that she first met Congressman Mills in July of 1973. According to employees of the club they were often seen together near the corner table near the emergency exit. At 2AM on the 7th of October of 1974 the private activities of this couple became public interest when a car they were in was stopped for speeding. Anabella jumped out of the car and jumped into the Washington DC tidal basin. After laughing it out the nation was almost ready to forgive for his indiscretion until he appeared on stage with Fanny during her act with the Pilgrim Theatre in Boston.
