The LVT A 4 in War Thunder is a premium event vehicle for the US tech tree. It has a short barrel 75mm M2 howitzer that can fire HEAT projectiles with up to 89mm of penetration.

The cannon reloads in 3.5 seconds meaning that follow up shots are pretty quick. Not to mention this floaty boy has a big old Browning .50 on top that has excellent elevation for dealing with light tanks, open topped vehicles and even aircraft.

The LVT M8 is very weak to pretty much everything, even light machine gun fire. At its worst, it has 7mm of armour and at best, 12.7mm on the hull. This makes it vulnerable to both hull break and auto cannons. Don't let that spoil your fun, though. The LVT can do really well given the right circumstances.
