RUSSIAN PINOCCHIO - SU-85M in War Thunder - OddBawZ

The SU-85M is an up-armoured version of the standard SU-85 and it's a good tank destroyer. The armour is 75mm and sloped at 50 degrees making it a real pain for most of the tanks at its battle rating.

The SU 85M sits at 5.3 BR and works well in a lineup along with the T-34-85 and the IS-1. It works really well on flat terrain and can get around fairly quickly with its 500hp.

I'm not a huge fan of this tank mainly just because of its lack of gun depression. Peeking tanks over hills is near suicide in this vehicle and even the slightest incline can give you serious trouble when you're trying to get your gun on target.

It has a very pronounced feature if you stick a pair of eyes on it and a smile. It even has a wee hat! That's why I lovingly call it Russian Pinocchio because of its long nose! :)

Overall, it's pretty decent. I just don't get along with it.
