How to make SEITAN/GLUTEN using flour | Vegan Meat Substitute

Looking for a meat alternative or want to make your own #seitan but can’t find vital wheat gluten these days? Why not try using what you have on hand? This video is about making homemade seitan using flour.

This cooked seitan using the simmering method is great for stews, curries and stir-fries! You may also steam, fry or bake the uncooked seitan depending on your desired outcome.

Seitan Ingredients:
500 g all-purpose flour
375 ml water

Simmering Broth Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1-2 bay leaves
10 pcs whole peppercorns
