OUR VAN IS A HOME AGAIN! REACHING THE END OF OUR SPRINTER VAN RE-BUILD

Can you believe we’re -almost- at the finish line for our van build?! After ripping apart Sophia in December, our tiny home on wheels is finally turning back into our home again. It’s been a crazy 4 months. I don’t think either of us knew what we were letting ourselves in for. We’re both exhausted but feeling excited for the future and SO ready to get back on the road again. What a journey it’s been already - and we haven’t even left the driveway! 🤪

We're Chesca and Ben and River (🐶 ) and we usually live full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. After a year of travelling Europe, from Spain and Portugal to the island of Sicily, the pandemic brought us back home to the UK. Along with a secret project we'd been planning! We plan to drive our tiny home on wheels all the way from Cornwall, UK to Cape Town, South Africa. Starting in late 2021, we first need to make some major upgrades to Sophia, stripping her right back to the insulation and giving her some beefy upgrades. Join us on our journey as we turn Sophia into an overlanding rig, ready to tackle whatever Africa can throw at us.
