Engaging a ‘bottom’ Yr 10 maths class - Belinda Naujok and Richard Andrew have-a-chat

Belinda Naujok is an awesome NSW mathematics teacher who is now a convert of an approach that is highly-structured, conceptually-based and somewhat student-centred.

Belinda was especially impressed after seeing the effect this approach had on her struggling (bottom) Yr 10 mathematics class.

5:30 - This conceptually-based approach is ideal for ‘bottom’ classes (This is contrary to the common misconception that a student-centred, conceptually-based approach is only suitable for ‘top’ classes.)
