HOW DID I MISS THIS?? Seiko’s MOST Underrated Diver: The Titanium Shogun SPB189 Review

The Seiko Shogun SPB189 is the most underrated and often the most forgotten Seiko diver. I absolutely love Seiko divers, I have owned and still own a bunch of them like the beloved SKX007, the SPB265 Captain Willard, The SPB313 Slim Turtle, and the ultimate SLA021 Marinemaster 300. And I love titanium, I've owned and still own some including my favorite watch the Tudor Pelagos, the Omega Speedmaster X-33, and the Citizen BN0220 Retrozilla.

But despite my love for seiko and titanium watches, I for some reason have never got around to trying out the Shogun. This needed to change so big thank you to Exquisite Timepieces for sending this in for review so that I can finally see what its like and lay all my doubts to rest. In This video I get into all the details about the case, bezel, and dial, and of course most importantly, how it actually wears on the wrist. Is this worth its four figure price tag now that I’ve finally worn it? Absolutely.
