The U.S. military has launched a new wave of strikes inside Iran after nearly a week-long pause. According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), the operation targeted dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sites, including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, coastal defense positions and maritime capabilities.

CENTCOM said the strikes followed alleged Iranian ballistic missile attacks on U.S. forces in the region. Iranian state media reported explosions and injuries in southern Iran, including on Qeshm Island.
