Santa Cruz Cabrália, Brazil - Short Documentary profile

A short documentary portrait of Edmundo, an older fisherman in Santa Cruz Cabrália, Brazil, filmed for June Sarpong's Row6 project, sponsored by the UN and the Joseph Campbell Foundation in 2011.

I saw Edmundo sitting on his porch and asked if he would be willing to sit for an interview. He began fishing full-time as a 10 year old and still goes out daily. There was a gentleness and quiet steadiness about him that made the conversation especially memorable.

Filmed on two Canon 7Ds.
