The Ombudsman for Children, Niall Muldoon, has called for Government to act to address how children placed in the care of the State are being treated and accommodated.

He was speaking on RTÉ Prime Time in relation to details revealed in an RTÉ Investigates documentary on the subject broadcast on Wednesday night.
