Irish man’s Olympic dream after marathon record | #RTENews #londonmarathon

Irish men’s marathon record holder Peter Lynch has said that Olympic qualification is now on his mind after setting the Irish marathon record in London on Sunday.

In only his fourth-ever marathon, the 28-year-old Kilkenny runner crossed the line in 2:06:08, putting him in ninth position on a record day that saw Kenya’s Sabastian Sawe become the first person in history to officially break two hours.
