A 29 year old patient who discovered me on YouTube comes in for the first time. She has significant changes in her toenails that have been present for most of her life, but increased in her 20s. In this video her toenails are trimmed, and samples are collected for lab analysis and fungal identification. Although fungal toenail infection is more common in the elderly and those with underlying conditions like diabetes, it can occur in younger people without any medical conditions.
