With the vote set for later today on the $900 billion stimulus package, it’s looking extremely likely that we’ll be seeing weekly $300 checks from the Feds in the very near future.

Meanwhile, Domino’s Pizza recently announced that they are offering employees $1,200 stimulus checks for hardworking hourly employees and drivers across America.

The pizza giant plans to spend more than $9.6 million to help 8,000 pizza cooks and speedy drivers with a little extra financial boost during the holidays.

Domino’s CEO Ritch Allison explained: “We strive every day to uphold our values of doing the right thing and putting people first.”

He continued: “We have the honor and privilege of being open and operating throughout the U.S. during this crisis, and we recognize that we could not be doing it without the hard work and dedication of our team members. This is our way of saying thank you to these remarkable people.”

With plans to hire upwards of 30,000 employees to meet demand, Domino’s might be the best place to make some money and eat some tasty pizza if you’re in the job market.

Finally, details have emerged regarding the extended enhanced unemployment benefits offered in the new $900 billion stimulus package.

Not only will eligible Ameircans receive 11 weeks of Federal $300 payments, but popular programs like the PEUC and PUA have been extended as well.

Without further action, millions of Ameircans are set to lose their weekly unemployment benefits at the end of this week.

Congress is set to vote on the bill later today, which will offer weekly $300 unemployment benefits from the end of December until mid-March.

While I’d love to see weekly $600 extended enhanced unemployment benefits once again, we should celebrate this great news.

Go to your state’s PUA or UI website, hand over you employment history, or lack thereof, tell them the truth, and let them know that you’ve been out of work due to that thing out there.

By answering all questions honestly, you could receive a backdated unemployment check for up to $20,000.
