Nintendo Fun Club News Issue #7 - June/July 1988

Episode 21 - This week, I create the "pilot" episode of a new category of videos I'd like to start doing called "Let's Read". A play on the "Let's Play" category of videos, this series would showcase classic gaming magazines and books from back in the day along with my memories from back then. Probably extremely long-winded and definitely not for everybody.

In this installment, I take a look at the final issue of Nintendo Fun Club news, which was a free periodical covering the NES before Nintendo power was launched. This magazine was sent free of charge to anyone who sent in the warranty card from their Nintendo Entertainment System. Those folks were sent a letter letting them know that this magazine would cease to exist, giving them an opportunity to subscribe to Nintendo Power right off the bat, so that they wouldn't miss a thing.
