The future has grown dark... After running through Lost Valley, Sonic got trounced by Shadow, newly revived Zavok, Metal Sonic, Chaos, & a new mysterious foe while trying to fend off Dr. Eggman's harmful deeds. 99.99% of world is Eggman's and world dominance is in the palm of his hands. 6 months later, Sonic's presumed to be dead, and Sonic's friends formed a resistance barely able to support itself, until a new recruit, your own custom Avatar, joins the fight. Finding news that Sonic's alive and being held captive on the Death Egg, he heads to Spaceport to head up there in hopes of saving the blue blur. Finding E-123 Omega presumably battered, Tails attempts to fix him but is spotted by Chaos and saved by Classic Sonic from Sonic Mania!
