Roxy is four days shy of being four weeks old. She was part of an accidental litter and somehow managed to get her leg stuck underneath part of a wire kennel. She was stuck like that all day which nearly severed the foot. We were asked to help her yesterday and she was surrendered to our care. Roxy was taken to the ER for us and was anemic upon being presented so she received a blood transfusion last night. The tissues around her foot were totally grey and there was no blood flow so the entire leg was amputated this morning.
