Arthur Fiedler (1894 – 1979) was a long-time conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra, a symphony orchestra that specializes in popular and light classical music. With a combination of musicianship and showmanship, he made the Boston Pops one of the best-known orchestras in the United States of America. No one ever looked more like a conductor than Arthur Fiedler, the man who made the Boston Pops an international institution.

Several songs in this Album were written by Leroy Anderson; (1908 – 1975) who was an American composer of short, light concert pieces, many of which were introduced by the Boston Pops Orchestra under the direction of Arthur Fiedler. John Williams described him as "one of the great American masters of light orchestral music.”

For his contribution to the recording industry, Leroy Anderson has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1620 Vine Street. He was posthumously inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1988 and his music continues to be a staple of "pops" orchestra repertoire. In 1995 the new headquarters of the Harvard University Band was named the Anderson Band Center in honor of Leroy Anderson. The Leroy Anderson House in Woodbury, Connecticut has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Most of the Beautiful Romantic Music Videos that I have uploaded (around 1000) reflect a more perfect time or Worldview than our time. This was a time when love was real & people cared for each other better than now. It was not a perfect time at all but reflected a world that still in some ways adhered to a Christian Worldview. Compare much of the music today with that of the 50's & 60’s (& before) & note the lack of happiness & true love rampant among most of today’s life. The despair & unhappiness of today can be traced directly to our departure from a Biblical Worldview…
