UCSF | Monochorionic Twins
Dr. Larry Rand, and his colleague Dr. Michael Harrison are true heroes of ours. Over the years they've dedicated their lives to turning around devestating birth defects using surgery on fetuses BEFORE they are born! UCSF wanted to create a series of videos that would be shown to parents after they've recieved a diagnosis for their child, to explain the condition in as accurate, thoughtful and direct manner possible. The videos are meant to be watched over and over, shared with families and friends to take the mystery out of the situation and make it more clear. Additionally, they are designed to be translated into multiple languages, increasing their usefulness to a broad audience. This is the first of the series and our entire staff were very proud to be helping such amazing work.
