Fair Isle through a lens - Episode 23

A series aiming to give a virtual tour of the U.K.'s most remote, inhabited island - Fair Isle. Join me, Rachel, as I guide you round the sights and locations of the island that has been my home for the last five years. I hope to share with you the stunning scenery of the isle and a look at life here.

Episode 23 - Summer on the Crofts

Slightly different content this episode - crofting is an integral part of Fair Isle and I thought you might like to see some of the crofting jobs that take place over the summer months, namely clipping, baling and Sheep Hill.

Baling and Sheep Hill, although long days and hard work, are community events at which all hands are needed. As such, they can also be quite sociable events too!

I'm very grateful to everyone featured in the video clips for allowing me to share them and, as always, to Anne Sinclair and Burrian for permission to use 'Du's Bune Lang'.
