Steam on the Missabe - DM&IR 332
The North Shore Scenic Railroad owns and operates an excellent collection of steam, and diesel locomotives. One such engine is DM&IR 332, 2-8-0 Consolidation style locomotive built in 1906.
In this video we'll chase the 332 from Duluth, and along the line to Two Harbors. The chase starts off in Duluth as the locomotive tackles a short, yet stiff grade, and makes some phenomenal noise as it chugs up grade. After that, we'll get it in a few other places such as Palmers, and near Knife River. The video ends with some pacing just outside of Two Harbors. We we can really hear the locomotive work, whistle for crossings, and enjoy the steam engine putting on an excellent show.
