Tesla Gigafactory Texas 2 February 2021 Cyber Truck & Model Y Factory Construction Update (08:30AM)

Gigafactory Texas on 2 February 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

It was absolutely gorgeous and perfect flying weather at Giga Texas today and I think the video will bear this out! A lot going on all over the place today, which is great!
In this video, I have a discussion with illustrations concerning casting machines ... what they are, how they work, why Tesla chose these from IDRA and more. I hope you enjoy the information!

Highlights from today include:
- More GeoPier work in the northwest corner, making good headway towards the over 4,000 piers that are needed in this area
- More of the fire water line loop is being trenched and installed on far south and in the northwest corner ... they are moving along very quickly!
- The west steel structure has now reached the northern-most perimeter grade beam now and has grown several sections further to the south as well as vertically
- More prefabricated concrete wall panels have been delivered in the southwest staging area
- Footing work down the central part of the foundation is progressing and many very large, prefabricated rebar frames and column structure have been staged at the southern side
- The area to the south of the concrete structure has been filled nearly to level and it appears electrical connections to the new power poles may be nearing the point that they can receive power. These underground conduits reach at least to the casting machine area.
- The concrete structure has gained a large wall section on the west, perimeter grade beam work all around, a third section of the roof getting ready for concrete and more slabs in concrete as well
- The area just to the east of the concrete structure continues to have some earthwork and more materials and equipment are being stockpiled
- The east steel structure is not only 7 sections from joining the concrete structure and all of the footings to do so are now completed and ready for columns and beams
- The east structure and the paint shop eastern sections are also very close to joining, perhaps 4 or 5 sections to go
- More grading, fill and compaction happening on the east contractor trailer area and the area just south of the old plant.
- More ground clearing and material stockpiling on the very far east area this morning
- The casting machine are showing progress and the casting machine itself is nearly assembled with electrical connections nearby
