Exploring the Island with Large Format Camera & Improvised Camper Van Darkroom | Analog Photography

I'm back with another large format photography adventure. This time I was exploring a completely different landscape where I was not surrounded with mountains but the sea. I am on a short holiday in Croatia and with me I brought basic Large Format and Darkroom equipment. I packed my Intrepid 4x5 and a pack of Zebra 4x5 dry plates that are loaded in a prototype Zebra dual plate holder. Yes I finally finished designing the holder and it was about time to give it a proper test. This is a bit longer in detail video where in addition to exploring the beautiful nature I also explain and show you my complete workflow from setting up the camera, lens selection, light metering, making an exposure and developing the plate in an improvised darkroom that I set up in the back of the camper. I ended up with two gorgeous 4x5 glass negatives that I am so excited to share with you! Enjoy watching!
