3 Ways to Develop 4x5 Film at Home (2020)
Large format photography can be quite daunting and the thought of developing the film can put a lot of people off. In this video I show three methods you can use at home with varying levels of cost and sophistication and hopefully tempt you to give the process a go for yourself.
Option 1: Stearman Press 445.
Option 2: Patterson Orbital.
Option 3: Jobo CPE 2.
The prices will vary wildly depending on where you are based and if the equipment is secondhand such as the CPE 2 and Orbital. Roughly speaking at 202 UK prices you can get an Orbital from £50, the SP 445 for £100 and a CPE 2 (without tanks) from £300.
