Bugatti Bolide #short #viral #shortvideo #automobile #viralvideo #bugatti #sports #car #newcar
Bugatti Bolide is a track-only hypercar designed as the ultimate "farewell" to Bugatti’s legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine. It is the most extreme model in the brand's modern history, prioritizing raw performance and aerodynamics over the luxury found in road models like the Chiron.
Performance & Engineering
The Bolide is built around a bespoke carbon fiber monocoque developed with Dallara to meet FIA Le Mans safety standards.
Engine: 8.0L quad-turbocharged W16.
Power Output: 1,578 hp (1,600 PS) and 1,600 Nm of torque.
Top Speed: Electronically limited to 380 km/h (236 mph) in its production form.
Acceleration: 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 2.2 seconds.
Downforce: Generates nearly 3 tons (2,900 kg) of downforce at its top speed to maximize cornering grip.
Weight: Approximately 1,450 kg (dry weight), achieving a near 1:1 power-to-weight ratio.
Key Technical Features
Braking System: Features the largest carbon-carbon brake system ever produced by Brembo, capable of absorbing more energy in a single lap than a Formula 1 car.
Aerodynamics: Includes a morphing "Dimple" roof scoop that reduces drag by 10% and lift by 17% at high speeds.
Suspension: A pushrod architecture with horizontal dampers, using aerospace-grade titanium components.
Safety: Equipped with an automatic military-grade fire extinguisher, six-point harnesses, and HANS device compatibility.
Production & Exclusivity
Limited Run: Only 40 units were produced.
Price: Originally sold for approximately €4 million ($4.3 million USD).
Status: All 40 units were sold out before production began; the final unit left the Bugatti Atelier in late 2025.
Resale: Chassis #001 was recently auctioned for approximately $4.95 million at RM Sotheby's in early 2026.
Track Requirements
The Bolide requires a specialized support team to operate due to its extreme cooling needs.
Tires: Uses Michelin slick tires that must be replaced approximately every 60 km of track use, costing about $8,000 per set.
Cooling: Requires external fans after track sessions to prevent overheating of the engine and brakes
