Designed to run across three connected displays, both games create a wide, cinematic playfield that enhances immersion and allows for larger-than-life characters and expansive environments rarely seen at the time.

Powered by dual Motorola 68000 processors, these games were capable of handling complex gameplay, detailed sprite work, and smooth scrolling across an ultra-wide resolution. The hardware supported multiple graphical layers, including scrolling background and foreground planes, along with a dedicated text layer, enabling rich visual depth and dynamic stage design.

In Darius II, players navigate a horizontal shoot ’em up filled with mechanical sea creatures and branching level paths, while The Ninja Warriors delivers side-scrolling beat ’em up action with fluid animation and striking character design. Both titles are further enhanced by high-quality audio driven by a Z80 sound CPU and YM2610 chip, delivering iconic soundtracks and arcade-quality effects.

These games remain iconic examples of arcade innovation, combining powerful hardware with creative design to deliver unforgettable large-scale gameplay experiences.
