When it is released in Australia, the new BMW 5 Series will include a 520i petrol model, and two fully-electric versions: the i5 eDrive40 (RWD) and this i5 M60 xDrive (dual motor AWD).

The i5 will compete with the Mercedes-Benz EQE, the Genesis Electrified G80, and the forthcoming Audi A6 E-tron sedan.

Europe will even get an i5 Touring wagon version!
