Struggling With Handstands? This Yoga Prep Builds Strength & Stability

Ready to build strength, stability, and confidence for handstands?
This 1-hour Handstand Prep Yoga Class is a highly requested practice designed to help you safely and intelligently prepare your body for handstands and arm balances — with support, awareness, and smart progressions.

In this class, we focus on a long, proper warm-up for the wrists, forearms, and shoulders, so your joints feel supported and resilient before going upside down. You’ll learn how to engage your core with correct alignment, build shoulder stability, and develop the strength and control needed for handstands — without rushing or forcing anything.

We’ll explore different ways to approach and lift into handstand, using the wall, the floor, and a yoga block to create stability, confidence, and body awareness. This makes the practice especially supportive if you feel afraid of handstands or don’t yet feel comfortable practicing in the middle of the room.

Towards the end of the class, we’ll briefly use a large exercise ball for a few additional strength and awareness exercises.
✨ The ball is completely optional — if you don’t have one, you’re welcome to simply watch that section. I’ll also be sharing a separate video fully dedicated to handstand training with the exercise ball.
