Christine Hals was one of the Norwegian composers Beck came across with while composing the soundtrack for Frozen 1. You know the loud voice we hear when Elsa runs off freezing the whole fjord? Well, that's Christine performing kulning, a singing technique diffused in the northern mountains of Scandinavia, especially in Norway, that herders used to call together livestock at the end of the day. Aurora's calls were inspired to the kulning that was first brought to the saga by Christine Hals, who was called back to dub the queen in the Norwegian version of the sequel.
