Music for Robots: AI-Generated Music from Google's MusicLM: 18 Curated Minutes of 20-second Samples

Eighteen more minutes of 20-second musicLM prompted music generations.

Genres include electronica, rock, jazz, funk, even classical.

You can see most of each prompt in the region names as they scroll by in Logic Pro. The chapter names also match.

I tried prompts from specific to general and included ones from open-ended to whimsical. As you might notice, a lot of times what it made doesn't always match the prompt.

I did a wee bit of post-processing in Logic Pro... normalized the regions (even though it doesn't look like it), added a bit of EQ, light high and low stereo spread, and some compression and limiting.

I was pickier on this pass, discarding at least 80%. At least a few interesting bits in there, I think...
