Memories of Morpeth's Goosehill School

DAYS of the old school yard are being recalled at Morpeth.

Past pupils of Morpeth First School have taken up an invitation to return to the classroom one last time before it leaves its Goosehill site for good next month.

Children and staff begin the September term in a new £6m school at Loansdean - and the 108-year-old Goosehill buildings will be demolished.

We met ex-pupils from the Thirties, Forties and Fifties at the beginning of a series of ‘Goosehill Sundown’ events.

This is the first of several videos about the school which will include other ex-pupils who were interviewed but are not featured in this one.
