In this DIY tutorial, I will be making a pendant paper puzzle lamp consisting of 30 hexagonal units. The end product is a sphere with a starry and floral pattern. This makes it suitable for home/room decorations or for any festive occasions.

To make a paper lantern that appears at its best, you will need paper/card thickness around 225 - 250 gsm, which provides flexibility and rigidity for the construction. When building the lamp, be sure to reinforce the lock-in positions often, such that stars and flowers appears in the right position. Spend some time fixing up diamond tips.

Please use low energy or LED light globe to keep the heat down for your safety.
