From our Archive: Viewers on our channel have watched a few videos of then 16-year old Ari, a quiet young girl we met years ago while filming inside a juvenile detention center. Ari was brought into juvenile detention after a misunderstanding at a high school football game. Ari had previously been a student at the high school, but left mid year to attend a new school after getting in a fight with other kids at the school. That original fight landed her on probation.

In this video, we take viewers back to the night Ari was arrested and brought into juvenile detention. As viewers who've watched the previous videos with Ari recall, on this particular night, Ari went to the football game to pick up her little brother, but when school officials saw her on the premises, they told her to leave. When Ari said she was only there to pick up her brother and take him home, officials called a law enforcement officer to remove her from the property. She was then arrested, handcuffed and hauled into juvenile detention. Since she was still on probation at the time, the Intake officer at the detention center talked to Ari about what was going on in her life and the issues that were landing her in trouble.

This video is the final video in the Ari story, and we hope it gives viewers on our channel a complete look at the juvenile system, from the night of arrest and intake at the detention center, to the sit down interview with Ari in a previous video on our channel, to Ari's court hearing which can also be seen at the link above.

Update: We hear Ari is now doing well, and has never been back in the system.
