Recently I stayed overnight at the legendary Rockwood Motor Court on old Route 66. It is the oldest lodging place on the Mother Road. (I stayed in the movie-themed room!)
A marker was placed by the Oklahoma Route 66 Association in the style of the "Route 66 Roadside Attraction" markers that have been shown on this channel.
