കരുതലായി 138 ആംബുലന്‍സുകള്‍ | Medical College fire, 138 Ambulances Rushed In

Following the fire outbreak at Kozhikode Medical College, a total of 138 ambulances from across the district rushed to the hospital as part of the rescue operation. Along with the government-run 108 ambulances, vehicles operated by various organizations and private institutions also participated in the mission. Discussions held by Assistant Commissioner A. Umesh with ambulance organizations helped accelerate the emergency response. More than 200 patients were safely transported to secure locations via ambulances. By around 10:20 PM, all patients were shifted to various hospitals for continued treatment, thanks to the prompt actions of ambulance staff. കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് തിപിടുത്തത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ നടന്ന രക്ഷാ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തില്‍ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ഓടിയെത്തിയത് ജില്ലയിലെ 138 ആംബുലന്‍സുകള്‍. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സംവിധാനമായ 108 ആംബുലന്‍സിന് പിന്നാലെ വിവിധ സംഘടനകളുടെയും സ്വകാര്യ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള ആംബുലന്‍സുകളും രക്ഷാ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തില്‍ പങ്കാളികളായി. അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കമ്മീഷ്ണര്‍ എ. ഉമേഷിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ആംബുലന്‍സുകളുടെ സംഘടനകളുമായി ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തിയതും അടിയന്തിര ഇടപെടലിന്റെ വേഗം കൂട്ടി. 200ല്‍ അധികം രോഗികളെയാണ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍നിന്നും ആംബുലന്‍സില്‍ സുരക്ഷിത സ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെത്തിച്ചത്. രാത്രി 10.20ഓടെ മുഴുവന്‍ രോഗികളെയും വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ എത്തിച്ച് തുടര്‍ ചികിത്സ നല്‍കാന്‍ ആംബുലന്‍സ് ജീവനക്കാരുടെ ഇടപെടല്‍ സഹായിച്ചു. മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് തീപിടുത്തത്തില്‍ ഒരു വലിയ ദുരന്തം ഒഴിവാക്കാന്‍ സമയോചിതമായ ഇടപെടല്‍ നടത്തിയ മുഴവന്‍പേര്‍ക്കും ഡോക്ടര്‍ ലൈവിന്റെ ആശംസകള്‍.
