Upper Michigan Trip Day One

Day on and two of a week long trip around Michigan. The final destination was Ishpeming with stops in Mackinac Island, and Grand Marais. We had an Cessna 172 and a Stinson 108 as our transportation. After Mackinac Island we want to land at all back country grass strips. Had it not been for needing fuel we could have made that happen. This three part series will show the highlights of our flying and vacation.
The first day is a flight to Mackinac Island and as always things don't go as planned. Once we get to the island good food and times are had.
