How to Use KPIs to Analyze the Production Schedule in PlanetTogether – Life Sciences Edition

You can use PlanetTogether to use key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze the production schedule. You can use PlanetTogether to compare KPIs between a live schedule and what-if scenarios. KPIs like percentage of late jobs, late jobs revenue, late penalty, late penalty + setup + carrying costs, late units, total setup calendar hours, total setup labor hours are just a few of the key performance indicators you can examine with PlanetTogether.

Use this method to determine how changes to your production schedule or your optimization rules will impact KPIs if you apply them to the live production schedule.

Step-by-step instructions to use key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze the production schedule with PlanetTogether:

1. Click Views in upper right and select Key Performance Indicators to reveal KPIs
2. Toggle KPI categories on right to include or exclude KPIs from graph
3. To see how changes to a what-if scenario impact KPIs, select the what-if scenario, navigate to Optimize Rules, make changes to the rules, close the Optimize Rules screen, then click MPS/MRP Optimize
