Today’s dessert is inspired by episode 1 of Spring Baking Championship where contestants had to make honey inspired dishes with 3D elements. Not sure how I feel about it or if I want to make it again…
350g sugar
150g water
About 9 graham crackers
60g dark chocolate
½ tsp refined coconut oil
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Line a 9x13 baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out your crackers to completely cover the sheet. Combine the water and sugar in a medium pot, stirring until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Stop stirring and continue to cook the sugar until 310-315* F. Remove from the heat and quickly whisk in the baking soda and salt before pouring onto the crackers. Let set 30 minute then break into pieces. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave in 30 second intervals and then drizzle on the pieces. Let set at room temp for 30 minutes.
