As more and more states pass cell tougher cell phone laws, you need to know your options. In Washington state, only minimal use of a cell phone is allowed and the Naztech MagBuddy Magnetic phone mount can help and is compatible with most smart phones. The MagBuddy package comes with a very simple device to help you mount your phone to your vehicle’s air vent. Here you can see the magnetic platform and the vent clamp. The awesome thing is that the MagBuddy comes with 2 plates so if you carry 2 phones around, you can instantly switch between the two while you’re driving. The included lightweight metal plates are super thin and have optional adhesive tape for mounting.

The Naztech pad has strong magnets imbedded to hold your phone in place. The vent clamp snaps onto the magnetic pad and is easily adjustable for different angles for viewing your screen. Once you find the perfect viewing angle, just tighten the nut to lock it in place. The magnet inside the pad is surprisingly strong! It’s so strong that it’s actually kinda tough to pull the metal plate off the pad.

The Naztech plates work under battery covers and under phone cases for a nice clean look. Mounting the magnetic pad is super easy. Just slip it onto one of the slats on your vent. Then just touch the phone to the pad and it stays securely in place. I’ve had the MagBuddy for about a month now and not once has any of my phones slipped or moved while driving. I can now stay legal using one finger operation with the GPS on my phone. But please check with the laws in your own state! The Naztech MagBuddy is a joy to use versus the clamp style phone holders. You literally just have to touch the phone to the pad and it’s mounted!
