Snow the Grizzly Bear

Snow is one of Yellowstone's more famous bears. She was the first cub (along with another that didn't survive) born to Raspberry who is one of Blaze's offspring. Blaze produced many cubs in the central east part of Yellowstone until she attacked an "experienced" hiker who wasn't carrying bear spray. The Park Service killed her and sent her 2 cubs to a zoo in 2015, the same year Snow was born. We were hoping Snow would come out of hibernation this year with new cubs. She didn't so we are really hoping she will in 2023!
