上海高郵路庭院之家 An Old House Lived by Shanghai Socialite Is Renovated into A Garden Villa

長度僅300米、永不拓寬的上海高郵路，有著近百年的歷史。天津首富吳熙元之女吳靖，是上海最後一代名媛，曾在這條路上一棟小洋房生活長達70年。2017年年底，設計師範繼景受邀，將這棟陰暗腐壞的老房，低價改造成了四周通透、綠植環繞的“空中花園”，新舊融合、宜賞宜居。

The 300m-long Gaoyou Road in Shanghai, with a history of nearly a hundred years, has never been and will never be broadened. As the daughter of Wu Xiyuan, once the richest man of Tian Jin, Wu Jing was one of the last socialites in Shanghai. She lived in a villa on the road for as long as 70 years. In 2017, interior designer Wu Jijing was invited to renovate the dark and rotten house at low cost. After renovation, it has now become a well-lighted ‘garden in air’ surrounded by plants. It mixes traditional and modern elements, and is both viewable and livable.
