Attempted Pharmacy Burglary Thwarted by Fog Machine in Los Angeles

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-15-24 | Approx 3:30 a.m.
LOCATION: 21102 Devonshire St

DETAILS:

LAPD Devonshire responded to a report of a 459 at a pharmacy
Officers arrived and noticed white smoke coming from the building & asked for FD
Officers then realized there was a fog machine going off inside of the building
It appears the suspects entered “Home Health Care” by breaking a window
The suspects then broke through the wall and entered the “WellPharma RX Pharmacy”
The fog machine scared the suspects away, they fled before officers arrival
No merchandise is believed to have been stolen from either store
No further details given on scene
