One Killed After Camaro Slams Into Amazon Van | Cypress

08.21.2022 | 7:21 PM | CYPRESS – Two vehicles collided near the intersection of Holder Street and Katella Avenue in the city of Cypress.

Arriving units from Cypress police and Orange County Fire Authority determined  the crash involved a newer Camaro and an Amazon Prime delivery vehicle.

A passenger of the Camaro was declared deceased on scene.

Both drivers were sent to local trauma centers with unknown injuries.

Unconfirmed reports from bystanders say the driver of the Camaro ran a red light at the intersection at high rate of speed and struck the Amazon truck.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Cypress Police Department.

The area will be closed to traffic until morning and the public is urged to avoid the area.
