Ingredients

Arhar dal
Water
Salt
Haldi
Ghee rai
Dry red chilli
Onion
Ginger
Garlic
Tomato
Red chilli
Dessicated coconut
Sambar masala
Tamarind water

Procedure of making dal

- in bowl add washed dal and water.. soak for 30 minutes
- in cooker add dal, water, salt, haldi
- pressure cooker it until 2 or 3 whistles
-remove from heat
-Pan: ghee, rai, dry red chilli,onion, garlic, ginger, tomato
- cook for 5 minutes on low flame
- add cooked dal and mix well
-add 2 tablespoons of tamarind water
Cook for a minute
- garnish with coriander leaves
