King's Indian Defense, Sämisch Variation - Standard chess #46
I played the King's Indian Defense in a standard chess game as black with my opponent replying with the Sämisch Variation. Pawn duos are a great strength, and should be combated at an early point. In the Sämisch Variation of the King's Indian however, white builds a pawn trio. How can one challenge such a structure? I elect a plan that first involves supporting a b5 advance which helps to chip away at white's strong central pawn presence. The Rapid time control for this game is 15 minutes with a 5 second increment.
