Should the taxpayer stop funding the BBC?

talkRADIO’s Ian Collins reacts to the BBC’s money-saving mission of scrapping 450 jobs across regional television and radio programmes in England.

"I've always been a supporter of the BBC… but increasingly it’s very difficult to defend their existence in its current form.

"The only thing that really surprises me about this story is that it's only 450 people," he said.
